posted 18 May 2011, 02:13 by Ronan Boyle
The time has come around again to challenge the sailors of the Naval Yacht Squadron, the date is the Sunday 29th of May 2011. Location lower Cork harbour to Kinsale harbour and onto K.Y.C, this race will be in aid of the Access Sailing Class (ASC) Irish Disabled Sailing Programme.  Last years race was won by Capt Bob Scarrott (single handed), the cup is up for grabs again this year.

We are looking for cruisers to support our open day. Start time 14:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

The open day is designed to give families with children who have a disability and are interested in sailing the chance to experience the joy, freedom and knowledge that can be gained through our Programme.  Your support was much appreciated by all last year and would be much appreciated also this year.  Refreshments will be available at the K.Y.C club on the day and family member are welcome.
