Squadron Captain's letter 2010

Please find attached the Squadron Captain's letter for the 2010 sailing season. Of particular importance is the requirement for all NSYS members to get involved with the club activities as much as possible.

How to access the NSYS Members Area

Current NSYS members can gain access to the Members Area of the website by sending an email to the webmaster at the address shown on the left AND by setting up a Google account as described in the attached document.

White sail racing - Cove Sailing Club

NSYS members are cordially invited to take part in the weekly white sail racing schedule organised by the Cove Sailing Club.

Regular events are held on Friday evenings between May and September for "Whites & Kites".

A May League is also planned for IRC and ECHO class on Sundays during that month.

Further details and a full schedule of events is attached.

NSYS members are encouraged to participate.

RNLI Sea Safety day 22 May 2010

The RNLI in conjunction with Cove Sailing Club will hold a Sea Safety day on Saturday 22 May 2010 starting at 1000hrs in Marlogue Marina (East Ferry).

All are welcome but book in advance if you want a free boat safety check. Contact details are in the attached file.

2010 AGM

The 2010 NSYS AGM will take place on Wednesday 20th January at 1200 in the NOC conference room, Block 6. All paid up NSYS members are encouraged to attend. The agenda is attached below.

2009 lift out postponed due to wx

Tomorrows lift out has been postponed due to forecast weather. A new date will be notified via webtext asap. There is no additional charge for the crane due to this delay.

RCYC Navy Race 2009

The annual RCYC Navy Race will take place on Saturday 12 Sep 09 in the Lower Habour, followed by a reception in the Wardroom.

NSYS KYC race 2009

An NSYS fleet will depart the base at 1500 tomorrow Friday 28 Aug for Kinsale. 

The intention is to overnight a/s Kinsale YC marina and depart Kinsale at 1300 on Saturday accompanied by a fleet from Kinsale YC, racing to the Naval Base, followed by a reception in the Wardroom from 1600.

All are welcome.

Our public profile is growing - As we add more links to our site our ranking on Google searches improves. If you search for "nsys" on www.google.ie you will now find our site 3rd or 4th from the top. It is 2nd from the top if you search pages from Ireland only.
